Most new jobs will be created from investments concerning green transition of businesses and the broader implementation of ESG standards. Climate change adaptation is also a strong contributor to net job growth. The adoption of new and emerging technologies, along with expanded digital access, is expected to become more important. New evolving functional and social skills are necessary to cope with a rapidly evolving socioeconomic environment. These ‘soft’ or social skills are also coined “21st century skills”. These include creativity, teamwork, communication, negotiation, adaptability, critical thinking, creative problem-solving, leadership, teamwork, adaptability, and resilience. All these aspects can be covered with serious games.

We present the design, implementation and evaluation of serious games developed for international student-business challenges in sustainable entrepreneurship. These games focus on three key themes: creativity, negotiation, and cross-cultural collaboration. We provide an overview of their conceptual foundations, key design parameters, detailed playbooks, supporting materials and evaluation data. The manual is aimed to promote cooperation, peer learning and exchange of experience at a European and global level. The results are re-usable, transferable, up-scalable and, have a strong transdisciplinary dimension. We discuss the expected impact and transferability potential as well.
